That is a good question to have if you're asking "What is a Social Media Audit?", you're one step closer to understanding the gaps on Social Media Marketing, Social Media Business Pages, and what are some ways you can quickly rectify these gaps to be:
a) Searchable Online
How So? A quick example would be adding categories (right ones) into your Social Media Business Pages.
For Facebook, you have a choice to add 2 more sub categories into your Facebook Business Page Categories.
Watch our Facebook Audit (Work Central) where they only had 1 category, while our Business Page has 3 categories.
b) Drive more traffic to your Products & Services
Social Media Audits help you understand Post Types from Facebook (that drives link clicks) and Ad Types that customers will click on to drive more traffic directly to the product or service detail/listing page.
While for Instagram, with only 1 bio link, will help you optimize the links to the different links and URLs you have for your business.
c) Get more conversion & leads
Understanding the social media content gaps will help bridge the buyer journey gap and the role Social Media can have for your business, and how Social Media should help you stand out from the crowd, competition and business.

Training Organization Instagram Marketing Audit:
A good social media audit should provide a client at least 7 to 10 actionables within the next 3, 6 and 9 months.
A review of the social media audit should be done once the improvements are done based on the suggestions and observations made during the Social Media Audit. In some cases, we recommend doing enough for the client to work on the next 3 to 6 months (short term goals), and depending on their capacity and resources to act on these suggestions to improve their social media business profiles.
Typically it will be good to have 3 to 5 short term goals and 3 long term goals.
